SparkTop.org is committed to complying with the guidelines set by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and does not sell or share information about its users to third parties. Privo Inc., a company that securely manages kids' registrations on COPPA-compliant websites, administers all registrations on SparkTop.org. WHAT KIDS CAN DO IF NOT REGISTERED ON SPARKTOP.ORG

Kids who are not registered on SparkTop.org can still view most of the content on the site - including Studio 24/7, The Last Bell, and DBTV, use the Create tools or go to
www.professorgarfield.org. However, they cannot submit content to the site for review and posting, establish a My Stuff area or SparkBlog page, enter contests, win prizes, record their game high scores, connect with other kids through the filtered Message Boards, or check in and view communications from SparkTop.org.

WHAT KIDS CAN DO WHEN REGISTERED ON SPARKTOP.ORG

By registering, parents and/or teachers give permission for a child to:
  • Submit artwork, photographs, music mixes, voice recordings, and written content, which are reviewed and possibly selected by SparkTop.org staff to showcase on the site
  • Participate in monitored Message Boards through voice recordings or text messages, which are reviewed by SparkTop.org staff prior to posting
  • Participate in moderated chat events on SparkTop.org, with other members and with special guests
  • Establish a My Stuff area, where they can save content from the site, including their own creations
  • Establish a BrainStorm homepage or SparkBlog page using art, animation, and sounds, which other kids can view
  • View filtered messages from other SparkTop.org members on their My SparkTop homepage
  • Enter contests on SparkTop.org
  • Win prizes from SparkTop.org
  • View personalized or group communications from SparkTop.org, after checking in on the site
  • Receive non-commercial, promotional materials through the mail about events and activities on SparkTop.org
  • Receive SparkTopics - the SparkTop.org online newsletter
  • Record their high scores in the site's online games
  • Send or receive instant messages, VoiceMail, or SparkMail in the site's Spark 2 Spark area
  • Earn free SparkPoints
  • Earn free badges
  • Trade SparkPoints for cool free prizes in SparkMart
