Why is Python popular?
Now that the computing power of personal computers and servers has become quite high, there is a huge demand for interpreted programming languages. Indeed, in addition to launching the program itself, the interpreter must be launched, which requires additional resources. This is exactly what Python is.

If you look at the statistics of the last five years, you can see that this language is among the five most demanded languages ​​and according to DOU data for the first quarter of 2020 it is the fourth most demanded in Ukraine, yielding to such languages ​​as JavaScript, Java and C #. This shows how popular and in demand this language is on the market today.

The popularity of Python is due to the fact that this language is capable of solving a wide range of problems and its use is possible on all platforms popular today, with the exception of the mobile segment, in which specific languages ​​are densely rooted. In recent years, Python has gained its popularity due to its efficiency in development areas such as Machine Learning and Data Science due to its extensibility and flexibility, which is so necessary in this segment of programming. At the same time, Python is widely used in the WEB, in which this language has been doing great since the early 2000s and to this day it develops and improves this direction. Benefits
Flexibility is, in my opinion, the main advantage of the language, as due to its flexibility the language has gained popularity among many developers. As one of my acquaintances said when he began to study this language: “Yes, in Python you can disassemble and assemble everything by cogs at any time.” And he was right.
Extensibility – one of the slogans of the language sounds like – Just Import! – which fully explains how the language is expandable and has been expanded in recent years. There are libraries and frameworks for any type of tasks and needs. Also a huge plus is that we can use C code from Python.
Simplicity of syntax. The syntax is exactly what made me fall in love with Python, all unnecessary things have been removed from the syntax, the code is clean and understandable without unnecessary parentheses and expressions.

Interpretability. The Python interpreter exists for all popular platforms and is included by default in most Linux distributions, which means it is available on most servers out of the box.
PEP is a uniform standard for writing code, which makes code maintainable and readable even as you move from programmer to programmer. This keeps Python popular.
Open Source – The Python interpreter code is open source, which allows anyone interested in the development of the language to participate in its development and improve it. If you look at the release details of one of the versions of the language, you will notice that huge parts of the new functionality are implemented by third-party developers.
Community – a rather friendly and pleasant community has formed around Python, which is ready to help any beginner or already skilled developer and figure out his problem.
